Senior Analyst - Sponsored Programs Data and Reporting

Position Description
Performs professional level analysis and control functions in area of assignment.

Major/Essential Functions

Data Management:
- Assist in identifying and acquiring data from various sources (i.e., databases, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Experience in extracting, loading and writing complex queries that join multiple sources of information together
- Clean, transform and prepare data for analysis and reporting where appropriate and/or work with IT to perform these functions.
Reporting Management:
- Proficiency with IBM Cognos and Microsoft Power BI
- Ability to develop reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos, Microsoft Power BI or other tools
- Create informative and visually appealing reports (e.g., dashboards, charts, graphs)
Data Analysis and Interpretation
- Ability to interpret and explain data and report results clearly and concisely
- Identify trends and insights from data to support decision-making
- Tailor reports to the needs of different audiences (technical and non-technical)
- Communicate information effectively through written and verbal presentations
Additional Responsibilities:
- May involve complex data analysis using statistical methods and tools.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest data analysis trends and technologies
- Identify opportunities to improve data collection and reporting processes
- May involve some project management

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field. Three (3) years related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven years.
