Job Description

This 100% in-office position requires the handling of highly sensitive and confidential information, including but not limited to medical reports, criminal histories, and crime reports involving pending investigations.  The incumbent is expected to effectively communicate and interact with Deputy District Attorney staff and law enforcement agencies whose mission is to seek justice for crime victims and those involved in the criminal justice process.

The primary duties for this assignment are programming for case management and digital evidence systems, troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving system/application-related requests including Help Desk, Web, Audio/Video editing, and Court support. The preferred programming languages for this assignment are Groovy, SQL, and Velocity.

This recruitment will be opened until filled. Qualified applicants are encouraged to apply immediately. Job Requirements

Experience: Two years of journey-level technical experience comparable to an Information Technology Technician II with Placer County.

Training:
 Equivalent to completion of an associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information technology or a closely related field. Additional relevant technical experience that demonstrates the ability to perform specialist level duties in assigned technology area may substitute for the required education on a year for year basis; or possession of one or more approved information technology certificates and/or completion of other approved technology-related training may substitute for all or part of the above-required education.
