  • The office for this position is located at the Jefferson State Office Building, 205 Jefferson Street, Floor 3, Jefferson City, MO.
  • Candidates who complete a successful onboarding and training period may be eligible to work at an alternate location in compliance with OA-ITSD's Distributed Workforce Plan.

This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD), supporting the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).

  • Communicate with business users and ITSD team members.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor 5 application developers.
  • Help define and promote development standards and security standards.
  • Assign tasks, monitor work capacity, evaluate risks, and manage the day-to-day success of your team.
  • Assist ITSD-DESE and DESE to streamline their applications and processes.
  • Keep process, application, and architecture documentation accurate and up-to-date.


  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of VB & C# with .Net Framework and .Net Core, MVC,JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, and Visual Studio.
  • Familiar with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure desirable.
  • Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
