Job Summary Salary:

$63,627.20 - $84,302.40 Annually
Nature of Work Develops, maintains, and/or enhances new and existing reporting systems according to Department need and independent understanding of business operations. Data is turned into information and information into insights that directly influence and advance organizational capability and strategic decision making. Performs professional and administrative work and provides direct Business Intelligence support to Senior Department leadership, with emphasis on operational and planning functions that are key objectives of the Department’s services lines. Prepares reports and data analysis and delivers presentations that articulate business needs or improvement. Capable of leading changes to business processes, systems, and technology, and driving faster adoption and higher proficiency amongst staff. Work is performed under the general direction of the Planning Administrator or other assigned Division Manager within the Department. Work is reviewed through discussions and reports submitted.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance/Economics or related field required and three (3) or more years of experience in data analysis and/or custom report development for end users
required , or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Direct experience creating SQL queries, tables, spreadsheets, stored procedures, and views in relational database environment required . Direct experience with business intelligence applications such as Power BI or Tableau preferred.
Must pass a background check which includes a polygraph.Valid Florida driver’s license is required. - Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
