The City of Portland is seeking a Business Systems Analyst I within the Portland Bureau of Transportation. This Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the project management & permitting system (eBuilder & Amanda) and works closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into system requirements, and ensure that system effectively supports business processes. This role requires analytical, technical, and communication skills to drive system improvements and support organizational objectives.

The BSA I will lead support applications across our Bureau and sometimes across the City. Projects often include working with the following types of systems/tools: eBuilder, Amanda permitting software, ESRI GIS Tools, Microsoft Azure, Workflow Tools, Data Visualization Tools, Microsoft Office 365 Tools, and Custom Developed Web Applications.

An ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of administering & supporting eBuilder software, strong communication skills (verbal and written), experience managing multiple support requests, the ability to solve or troubleshoot problems, and the ability to translate customer needs to technical requirements for information systems professionals.
