After reading about the City of Fresno and its positions available, I am excited for the potential of working with the City. I believe it offers opportunities for me to foster others' professional development, as well as challenges me to continue growing my skills as a Manager.
I have been working in program management and employee relations, most recently as a Director of Programs with Jumpstart for Young Children. With over 20 years of service with Jumpstart, I have acquired the skills necessary to maintain strong partnerships with Preschool Partners, Higher Education Partners, and Community Partners. Working with Jumpstart’s partners in Fresno, I dedicated myself to maintaining a high quality site, supporting program staff, preschool partners, and most importantly, the college students that make up our Corps. I am also proud to be seen as a resource for my colleagues at partner universities across Jumpstart’s national network.
Highlights of my experience include:
Additionally, I am reliable, motivated, provide great attention to detail, and able to work independently and under pressure to complete projects on schedule. My computer proficiency includes knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Canva, candidate relationship management (CRM) software, and applicant tracking systems. I am adept at learning any new software that may be required for the position.
Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to further discussing my qualifications and interest in supporting IXL Learning in this position.
