This is an ongoing recruitment to fill positions starting in June. Applicants are encouraged to apply early! Eligible applicants may be contacted for interviews as early as March.

Available Youth positions for Summer 2023:

Nature Day Camp Educator I
Work with children ages 5 - 12 in local parks, leading games, activities, and exploring nature.

Age Requirements: Must be between 16 - 21 years old.

Work Schedule: June 16 through August 18, 2023; Monday through Friday; 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Youth Conservation Crew Member
Work with plants, animals and trails.

Age Requirements: Must be between 14- 18 years old.

Work Schedule: In the summer, work June 27 through August 11, 2023; Tuesday through Friday; 8:30am to 2:30pm. During the school year, sign up to work on Saturdays and school holidays.

These are seasonal Community Service Aide (CSA) I positions with a maximum of 1,400 hours in a calendar year.

These positions are not eligible for benefits.

COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement

To Qualify

The following qualifications are required for this position:

  1. Be between the ages of 14 and 21 years old by June 1, 2023.
    • Applicants ages 14-18 will be considered for Youth Conservation Crew.
    • Applicants ages 16- 21 will be considered for Nature Day Camp Educator I
Applicants must also:
  • Be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 per City/State mandate or have an approved exception by date of hire.
