Description: Job Overview
Reporting to the Director of IT Services and Administration, the Budget Analyst is a key staff member for Instructional & Information Technology Services (IITS) as they administer all aspects of the department's complex budget operations. At the time of this update, this includes four primary budgets that exceed ten (10) million dollars. The areas of responsibility for this position (in priority order) include: 1) process, monitor, and track all transactions that occur in the department's accounts, 2) perform complex and accurate financial projection estimates, 3) prepare budget and other university reports/forms, and 4) perform advanced analytical work and make recommendations to the Dean and senior department leaders. In this role, the Budget Analyst interacts with almost all IITS employees in the performance of their work that involve financial transactions or employee salary expenditures. The Budget Analyst trains and assists department staff in the completion of campus financial transactions, purchases, and budget estimates related to the various work groups within IITS. This is a full time, exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.

Anticipated Salary Range: $5,000 - $5,600 per month
