The Job

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for a Revenue Capture Analyst to add to our growing team to help us support our revenue reconciliation processes, charging functions, and billing requirements. We're looking for a motivated self-starter who's passionate about managing hospital operational processes.

Minimum Requirements

Education: A completed Bachelor's degree in Public/Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Behavioral/Social Science, or other relevant field of study.
Experience: Two (2) years of full-time equivalent professional-level administrative experience in hospital business office/revenue cycle operations that includes conducting research and analysis duties in the following areas: hospital billing practices and methods; Medicare and Medi-Cal billing regulations; insurance billing and collections; budget/financial management, patient accounts/billing; hospital revenue analysis; clinical charge capture; policies and procedures, or relevant organizational/operational/personnel activities. (Research and analysis duties performed should be clearly demonstrated in the Work Experience section of the Application.)

NOTE: Qualifying degrees or coursework must be completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education. Degrees or coursework completed outside the U.S. must be accompanied with an evaluation report from a reputable credential evaluation service showing equivalency to degrees or coursework completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education.

Desired Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
  • Knowledge of third-party reimbursement, collection laws, and UB04 billing regulations
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Charge Description Master (CDM)
  • Knowledge of Meditech
  • Closely related advanced degree
  • Experience with EPIC EHR system highly desirable
The ideal candidate will possess one or more of the following certifications:
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC®)
  • Certified Professional Biller (CPB™)
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR)
  • Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP)
