The City of Chandler Youth Camp program operates out of 4 City facilities and is offered 13 weeks out of the year. We engage kids ages 5-13 in sports, games, experiments, and arts & crafts during intersessions. The Community Services Department enhances the quality of life in Chandler through a vast provision of diverse and affordable educational and recreational experiences. Who we are looking for
Our new team member will have a passion for team work, collaboration and instructing youth. We are looking for a Temp Recreation Leader I who will help plan and supervise children ages 5-13 during intersession camps. Ideal applicants will be energetic, creative, and can apply independent judgement during program. Minimum Qualifications
- High school student or graduate; and
- First Aid and CPR/AED certifications may be required depending on assignment; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- Experience in a recreation environment working with children
