EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
Equipment Maintenance Assistant
Copy/Print Fleet Program
Salary Range: $3,262 - $5,662/Monthly
Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.; non-exempt classification.
Essential Functions: Under the general direction of the Golden Eagle Once Card Lead, the incumbent performs a diversified range of duties including; maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of the Blackboard hardware & software; reporting network and technical issues to Administrative Technology or ITS; maintaining, operating, servicing, and entering access codes for coper/printer equipment; monitoring the Pharos Uniprint system; providing customer service for the One Card functions using the Blackboard Transaction System; ordering parts and supplies; conducting inventory; completing service calls to vendors; providing door access; resolving debit errors and usage; collecting of VTS funds; cashiering at the One Card Office; issuing I.D. cards; coordinating with other campus departments with special issuance of I.D. cards; and assisting with vendor setup for the Eagle Dollars Program.
Required Qualifications & Experience: Equivalent to two years experience in the servicing, maintenance, operation, or assembly of equipment including experience using hand tools to make adjustments and following specific procedures for maintenance or equivalent to two years of trade school or apprentice training in equipment repair. Incumbent must have basic knowledge and ability to use operating system features and network protocols as applicable to equipment area. Incumbent must: be dependable, detail oriented, computer proficient, and able to lift 25 lbs; possess excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills; and have demonstrated ability and/or interest in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment.
Desired Qualifications & Experience: Experience working with Blackboard Transact and Pharos Uniprint systems, Microsoft Office and Operating systems, POS cashiering transactions, and knowledge of PeopleSoft Student Administration system.
