TDPUD’s General Manager is building a new executive management team focused on organizational excellence, positive progress, respect for the past, and outstanding community service.
The IT Director will play a key role in implementing the District’s strategic plan while overseeing a team of 5 and a combined capital and operating budget of $3.1M (FY 2021).
The ideal candidate is trusted partner with good communication skills who is collaborative and forward thinking. They have a strong work ethic; set a positive, professional tone; are adept at team building, planning, organizing, and staff development; and have strong people and project management skills. They will quickly assess the organization’s needs and capabilities and make cost-effective recommendations for improving security, reliability, and sustainability. Requires a combination of education for success on the job. Example: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or computer science AND 10 years experience in cybersecurity, applications, network infrastructure, and user support management PLUS 3-5 years of experience in a leadership capacity.

Salary: $170,726.60 to $207,523.23 per year, DOQ, plus benefits.
