Maintenance & Custodial Worker - Full Time Temporary
Recreation Services - Parks
Not eligible for all benefits, will accrue paid sick time
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, eligible for overtime compensation

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week including weekends, hours are from 6:00am to 2:30pm
Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks including maintenance of all park facilities, janitorial duties, restroom cleaning is a must, trash pickup, weeding, raking, painting, and special events preparation and other duties as required. Incumbents receive general supervision from a Lead Parks Maintenance Technician or Supervisor.
Must be at least 18 years old at the time of hire and possess a valid Arizona driver's license. Must be able to perform physical work outdoors under all weather conditions. Evening, weekend and holiday work may be required depending on special events.

Physical and Visual Ability: Sufficient to effectively and safely perform required duties and to safely operate required equipment and city vehicle as needed.
Hearing and Speaking Ability: Clearly, concisely and effectively communicate in person and over the telephone.
