Definition

Experience & Education and License/Certificate
Experience, education and license(s) and/or certificate(s): A combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities may be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Experience : Three years of increasingly responsible journey level experience in performing facility maintenance services. Experience in a lead capacity is desirable.

Education : Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by formal or informal training at a journey level in building maintenance, general maintenance or related field.

License or Certificate : Due to the performance of some field duties, which require the operation of a personal or City vehicle, a valid and appropriate California driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required.
