The Recruitment and Outreach Professional collaboratively coordinates the recruitment and outreach yield efforts for services to middle and high school partnership programs. As the Coordinator for School Partnerships, works to create a College-Going Culture, provides personal and academic guidance in relation to admissions preparation and requirements, and serves as a liaison to administrators, faculty and staff in the partner districts regarding academic preparation, admissions evaluation and processing as well as campus support offices regarding individual students. Conducts information sessions and presentations at high schools, community events and similar requests. Is responsible for assisting with providing enrollment coaching, including academic monitoring, student counseling, application completion, FAFSA completion, and ensuring prospective students take the necessary steps to enroll at CSUSM.
