The Management, Human Resources and Information Systems Area in the Orfalea College of Business at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track, academic year position as Assistant Professor in the primary area of Organizational Behavior. Interest and ability to teach both undergraduate and graduate (MBA) level classes is desirable. In addition to teaching organizational behavior, the ideal applicant could also teach one or more specialized courses covering content areas such as human resource management, staffing, employment law, or employee relations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must have completed a doctorate or equivalent degree in Business or a closely related field from an AACSB or equivalent accredited institution. The Ph.D. should be awarded by the time of appointment in Fall 2022.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate exemplary teaching, a strong publication record and research pipeline, and currency in their professional field. Applicants must have the ability to work with diverse students and/or engage diversity in the curriculum. Preference will be given to candidates who have a track record of and/or plan for increasing curricular coverage of areas related to diversity and inclusion, as well as to promote inclusive teaching strategies.
Demonstrated experience and commitment to student-centered learning and teaching, as well as the ability to collaboratively work in multidisciplinary settings is required. Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral use of the English language is required. Applicants are expected to demonstrate exemplary teaching, a strong publication record and research pipeline, and currency in their professional field. Preference will be given to candidates who have interest in teaching courses in organizational behavior and human resources management; experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment; and relevant work experience with professional capabilities.
