California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Orfalea College of Business, Management, HR & Information Systems, invites applications for full-time lecturer in Information Systems beginning September 15, 2022 or a mutually acceptable time. Candidates must have an interest and ability to teach undergraduate-level Introduction to MIS courses (using Microsoft Access, Excel and web development tools for business applications) and at least one of the following courses: application development (preferably using Python and/or Java), Android programming, mobile application development, computer networking, system analysis & design, and/or information security. The successful candidate must have completed at least a master's degree in Business with an emphasis in Information Systems or in a related field such as Computer Science or Information Science from an AACSB (or equivalent) accredited institution. A Ph.D. in Business or a related field is a plus. Applicants are expected to demonstrate and maintain currency in their professional field. Experience with teaching at the upper-division college level is also desirable.

- A master's degree in Information Systems.
- Professional experience in Information Systems or a closely related field
Demonstrated experience and commitment to student-centered learning and teaching, as well as the ability to collaboratively work in multidisciplinary settings is required. Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral use of the English language is required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
