The Lewis-Mason-Thurston Area Agency on Aging (LMTAAA) is a governmental agency sponsored by Lewis, Mason, and Thurston Counties since 1976. The agency is part of a state network of 13 Area Agencies on Aging in the Washington State and is part of a national network of 622 Area Agencies on Aging across the country.
The mission of the Lewis-Mason-Thurston Area Agency on Aging is to advocate, support, manage, monitor, plan, fund and coordinate programs and services for older adults, adults living with a disability and family caregivers. We fulfill our mission through our own resources, programs and personnel, or by connecting people to information and services provided through other agencies and support networks in our service area. Today, your local Area Agency on Aging serves as a vital advocate, resource and care coordinator for thousands of seniors and adults with disabilities who are looking for answers on aging and assistance with living longer, fuller and more productive lives.
The Contracts Director oversees the agency’s contracts management and compliance functions and responsibilities which includes a full range of planning and duties related to program management. This is a key management position with responsibility over a full range of related activities. This position is an active member of the Executive Leadership Team to support the agency’s strategic direction, leadership, administration, management, human resources and operations activities. The Contracts Director provides oversight and leadership to the contracts staff.
The success candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with four or more years management experience or six year of progressively responsible experience in the implementation of social services programs, which includes contract development and monitoring, and supervision of paid professional staff. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking and solid problem-solving skills as a contributing member of the Executive Leadership Team. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The exempt, annual salary range for this position is $71,004-$94,404 (annual) depending upon qualifications, experience and background.
