About the Position
Responsible for the supervision of undergraduate and graduate clinicians in both on and off campus practicum experiences. Observe therapy sessions, guide student clinicians in designing and administering therapy, and evaluate student clinicians. Review the students' written documentation. Provide consistent feedback to clinicians regarding their performance. Consult with client families and perform demonstration therapy for student clinicians as appropriate. Required Qualifications
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology awarded by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
- Master's Degree in Speech Pathology.
- CS SLP license.
- Minimum of three (3) years post-graduate clinical experience.
- Demonstrated skill and experience in communicating and working effectively with a diverse student, staff, faculty, and campus community is essential.
Condition(s) of Employment
- Supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
