Salary: $50,502.40 - $69,305.60 Annually USD
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is hiring for Quality Management Specialist who can develop, implement and monitor quality management activities for the Hospital. The Quality Management Specialist is a Licensed Vocational Nurse who will conduct ongoing research relating to regulatory and licensing standards in accordance with program requirements; develop and revises policies and procedures in accordance to regulatory and licensing requirement and develop education and training materials.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
1) Applicants selected for this position must pass a background investigation and medical examination including drug screening.
2) Applicants may be required to work various shifts, which may include weekends and holidays.
3) Travel throughout the County may be required. A valid California Class C driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance is required at the time of appointment.
Candidates must possess all of the following:
License: Must possess and maintain a current Licensed Vocational Nurse license with the State of California.
Certification: Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Option 1: One (1) year of experience as an Licensed Vocational Nurse in performance improvement, quality management or utilization review.
Option 2: Two (2) years of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in an acute care hospital.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced CA Licensed Vocational Nurse who has at least three (3) years of experience in an acute care facility.
