ADMINISTRATIVE & CLERICAL SUPPORT SERIES
 
Applications are being accepted on a continuous basis in order to meet the needs of the City as vacancies occur.  There is currently one (1) Full-time Executive Secretary (Administration) vacancy in the City Manager's Office.

SALARY RANGE :
 
Office Specialist:   
Current: $2,896 - $3,882 per month ($16.71 - $22.40 per hour)
Effective July 2021: $3,193 - $4,280 per month ($18.42 - $24.69 per hour)
 
Office Specialist I: 
Current: $3,202 - $4,290 per month ($18.47 - $24.75 per hour)
Effective July 2021: $3,530 - $4,730 per month ($20.37 - $27.29 per hour)
 
Office Specialist II: 
Current: $3,451 - $4,625 per month ($19.91 - $26.68 per hour)
Effective July 2021: $3,805 - $5,099 per month ($21.95 - $29.42 per hour)

Current:  $3,503 - $4,695 per month ($20.21 - $27.09 per hour)

  • Effective July 2022: 2% increase (for all classifications)
  • Due to recent budget reductions, full-time employees in these classifications are required to furlough 104 hours between June 21, 2020 and July 20, 2021.  New employees will have their required furlough hours prorated based on hire date.

The selection process will include the following components:  application review and evaluation, written examination, and selection interview.  The written examination date is to be determined .   Please notify the Human Resources Division 72 hours in advance of the test date if you have a disability which requires accommodation for the testing process.
 
The eligibility list established from this recruitment will be used to fill the above vacancy as well as any future full-time and part-time vacancies in any classification in the series that may occur during the life of the list.  Candidates will remain on the eligibility list for one (1) year from date of certification unless exhausted sooner.
