Budget and Contracts Analyst
(Administrative Analyst/Specialist I)

Under the general direction of the Associate Dean of the College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (CSTEM), the Budget and Contracts Analyst is responsible for the research, analysis, coordination and resource planning regarding CSTEM Unit 3 (Tenure, Tenure-Track and Lecturer) and Unit 11 (Instructional Student Assistants, Graduate Assistants, and Teaching Associates) employees. This position handles the coordination, analysis, assessment, generation and processing of personnel/payroll documents, appointments, contracts, entitlement and reconciliation for all Unit 3 and Unit 11 employees, in compliance with university policies and procedures. Prepares temporary faculty and employee personnel documents and records for the college and provides administration of all CSTEM lecturer faculty evaluations including range, yearly, semester and Peer-Review Committee evaluations. Serves as a liaison between CSTEM and Faculty Affairs on the coordination of recruitment, logistics, evaluations and record management. The incumbent develops and makes recommendations for college-level policies and procedures regarding lecturers and student employees.
