Tacoma Public Schools is looking for exceptional special education professionals ready to inspire and make a positive impact on students. Our special education program serves approximately 4,000 students from preschool through high school, serving ages 3 to 21.  Specially designed instruction and related services are based upon the need of each student. Health services including health education, nursing services, and environmental safety facilities are provided.

This position plans, organizes and provides students with appropriate learning activities, experiences and a classroom environment designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth; supports the School/Building, School Board, District and State curriculum, policies and initiatives for student achievement.

Job Requirements
