Employment Status: Full-time, non-exempt, probationary position (with the possibility of converting to permanent).

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This position is in the Office for University Development. Under the general supervision, the AVP of Development and Development Director, the Development Coordinator II (Administrative Support Coordinator II) will perform diverse and complex clerical and administrative functions related to program budget analysis, data analysis, data management, and student advisement.

Typical duties may include, but not are limited to the following:
The incumbent is responsible for maintaining general office records, compiling and updating information using the required databases.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with administration, faculty, staff, and students.
The candidate must be a self-starter who works well both independently and as a member of a team. In addition, it is important that the candidate works well in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
The incumbent must maintain thorough knowledge of all aspects related to the Development Office and be able to provide excellent support to the assigned Development Directors.
Maintaining effective communication and following up and/or reaching out to various constituents in a timely manner is critical.
Typical duties may include providing moderate to complex administrative and clerical support for assign development directors.
Develop and track timelines for various projects on an ongoing basis to see projects/tacks to completion.
Oversee the administrative functions in support of assigned directors of development to include but not limited to preparing materials for presentations and mailings; calendaring, meetings, and confirming schedules, ensuring phones are answered, databases maintained and supplies are ordered.
Maintain confidential electronic and physical donor files.
In addition, the incumbent must maintain accurate record-keeping and financial data. Summarize data related to administrative reports and other activities.
The incumbent will work collaboratively with the AVP office to provide on-going management of multiple, complex program budgets.
The incumbent should possess the ability to analyze budgetary data and make accurate and reliable fiscal projections.
Typical duties include maintaining and tracking fees between the districts and the university, processing invoices, requisitions, and travel for supervisors and coordinator(s), completing new hire forms, collecting and reviewing timesheets, and providing various budget reports on a regular basis.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent AND equivalent to five (5) years of administrative/clerical experience in general office is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Experience in higher education and administrative support.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Knowledge of office methods, procedures and practices, and a thorough mastery of English, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Expertise in using standard office software such as MS Office package is required.
The ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures independently, and use judgment and discretion to act when precedents do not exist.
The ability to troubleshoot most office administration problems and respond to all inquiries and requests related to work area.
The ability to understand problems from a broader perspective and anticipate the impact of office administration problems and solutions on other areas.
The ability to analyze operational and procedural problems and develop, recommend, and evaluate proposed solutions.
The ability to perform business math, analyze budgetary data, and make accurate projections requiring some inference.
The ability to effectively write and present own reports.
The ability to effectively handle interpersonal interactions at all levels and handle highly sensitive interpersonal situations.
The ability to work professionally, collaboratively, and collegially with a diverse group of people, clients, and co-workers, is required, as is the ability to use persuasion and negotiation to expedite projects and achieve results.

A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU.
