Description This full time Registered Nurse position provides general and specialized direct and indirect patient care through the application of sound Nursing Practice to patients in an alcohol, drug rehabilitation center STARTING SALARY: $25.00 Please note - Continuation of employment in this position is contingent upon availability of funding from services, program and agency earnings. Duties and Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Responsible for nursing assessment and development of nursing plan of care Responsible for total nursing care of patients and supervision of ancillary staff Responsible for patient admissions and discharges (along with patient education) Visit each patient throughout the shift and instruct ancillary staff in the needs of patients Interact with staff, patients, families, and physicians, nurse practitioners to provide optimum care for each patient Note any changes in patient's mental status, physical status, monitor signs and symptoms of withdrawal status during a shift and communicate same to appropriate staff Document all pertinent information in resident's electronic medical record daily and follow up with other staff to insure accuracy of care Respect rights and privacy of each patient while fulfilling responsibilities for their care Administer medications according to established procedures and in a timely manner Encourage patient participation in unit meetings and groups Encourage staff interaction with patients during waking hours Keep Nursing Supervisor informed regarding performance of personnel assigned to the unit Assume a leadership role and demonstrate this role to unit personnel by example Perform all duties assigned in an effective, timely, and professional manner Assume all duties as assigned by supervisor Minimum Qualifications Must be licensed by the state of South Carolina and in good standing with a current active license Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Excellent customer service skills A valid SC driver's license BCLS certification in all areas One-year work OR clinical experience in medical/surgical or substance abuse as a Registered Nurse and experience in electronic medical record charting is preferred, but not mandatory Closing Date/Time: 6/26/2020 11:59 PM Eastern

Position Summary: Positions in this classification cover a wide range of general and/or specialized administrative responsibilities in support of a program and/or organizational unit. The majority of work is administrative and analytical in nature with duties covering operational, policy and program research, analysis, reporting, and evaluation for the effective development and administration of programs or improvements to operational policies and procedures. Incumbents may also provide program administration or leadership. Responsibilities may include overseeing day-to-day administrative operations and providing lead work direction to others. Under general supervision, of the Parking Director, the incumbent will independently provide a range of administrative, professional and technical support to the department. Responsibilities include: Responsible for the administration of daily operations for TDM programs including vanpool, carpool, bike/walk, transit systems, shuttles, and new emerging TDM programs. Apply expertise in Transportation Demand Management (TDM) theory and practice to guide the CSUSB Alternative Transportation Committee in compliance with the California Education Code. Design, implement and administer highly complex and critical TDM programs for the campus and serve as a key technical advisor to University management on transportation policy and legislation. Develop policy and procedures, serve as the Lead for the Transportation Coordinator, and manage all transportation programs and services. This includes the AQMD survey and Employee Reduction Strategies, EV charging reports, commuter tracking forms, permit reports, tax report, and public transit reports as well as vanpool formation and maintenance, carpool formation and maintenance, carpool permit issuance, and outreach presentations. Ensuring that the Transportation Coordinator has the necessary tools and training to complete assigned tasks. Coordinates with the director on the assignment of work and managing employee expectations. Collects/analyzes program participant data; prepares statistic and service reports; provides a monthly and annual evaluation of all department programs. Independently develop marketing, educational and outreach programs to enhance alternative transportation. Lead the department's transportation innovation and process improvement efforts and develop new strategic approaches and solutions that address enrollment growth and transportation and mobility problems from a broad interactive perspective using advanced research and analytical skills. Actively engages with Human Resources, UEC Human Resources, and Academic Personnel to develop strategies to reach out to employees and increase sustainable transportation participation. Collaboration with the Chancellor's Office and other CSU campuses to develop and make available a parking and transportation survey to analyze, interpret, and improve student commute options to access CSU educational opportunities. Develops and maintains positive working relationships with other lead staff within Parking & Transportation and the University Police Department to ensure cohesive communication and delivery of programs. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs, PLUS two years of related experience. Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills: The incumbent should have a working knowledge of the various Transportation Demand Management (TDM) programs. The ability to coordinate, plan and organize new programs under pressure and time constraints. The knowledge of methods and techniques of research, analysis and report presentation. The ability to initiate, establish and foster communication and teamwork by maintaining a positive, cooperative, productive work atmosphere in and outside the University. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a diverse population. The skill in research, development, and evaluation of policies and programs and interpretation of data to develop sound conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
