Assistant Professor of Educational Technology - Tenure-track Appointment: The Department of Advanced Studies in Education invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant professor. The person appointed to this position will teach credential- and graduate level Educational Technology courses and supervise student theses and other capstone projects. In addition, the teaching load will include courses in quantitative and qualitative research and others in the area of curriculum and instruction, based on qualifications. Additional responsibilities include program development and implementation; development of contracts and grants; establishment of school/district partnerships; and service to the department, campus, community, and professional organizations. Teaching assignments will include both face-to-face and online courses. This is an academic year appointment; however, opportunities exist for additional winter and summer session appointments. Position begins August 2020.
• Doctorate required with emphasis in Educational Technology or related field. ABD considered with completion by time of appointment
• Exceptional teaching and interpersonal skills
• At least three years of K-12 teaching experience in diverse educational settings
• Record of or demonstrated potential for scholarly/creative activity
• Experience teaching at the higher education level

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CLEARANCE NOTICE
