Luckman Fine Arts Complex
Salary Range: $13 - $140/Hour
Work Schedule: Hours to be arranged; on-call; must be available for weekdays, weekends and/or evening performances; temporary appointment ends on/or before June 30, 2020; non-exempt.
Essential Functions: Under the general supervision of the Technical Director, the incumbent will provide proficiency and skills in the areas of carpentry, audio engineering, visual lighting (electrics) and stage management. The incumbent must inspect and maintain house equipment for performances and enforce University and Luckman Fine Arts Complex policies and operating procedures to ensure a stage environment that is safe and technically sound.
Required Qualifications & Experience: The incumbent must have two years of college coursework in theatre or two years of professional experience working for a theatre, repertory or stock company engaged in an applicable production specialty such as costume construction, stage and set construction, lighting production and/or sound/audio production. This experience can consist of professional training or applicable college coursework and practical experience. The incumbent must also have a demonstrated interest and/or ability to work in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered.
Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
