Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC)is recruiting for aHealthInformation Management Supervisorwho plans and supervises a major function of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center's Health Information Management Division; applies, interprets and ensures compliance with state, federal and accrediting agency regulations related to medical records; performs related duties as required.
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a 456-bed university-affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and operated by the County of San Bernardino. The hospital, located on a 70-acre campus in Colton, California, is a designated Level II trauma center. ARMC operates a regional burn center, a primary stroke center, a behavioral health center located on the hospital campus, four primary care centers including three family health centers, and provides more than 40 outpatient specialty care services.

Two (2)years of experiencewithin the past five (5) years, of full-time comprehensive coding medical records in an acute care hospital.
- AND -
Possession of a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) with the American Health Information Management Association and possession of an AHIMA ICD-10 - CM/PCS Certification.
- OR -
Possession of a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification may substitute for the above requirements.
Lead/Supervisory experience is highly desired.
