The Job

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC)is recruiting for the position of Clinical Nurse Specialist, who under direction, assists in maintaining the clinical development and competency of the nursing staff in a specialized unit or program, utilizes the nursing process in professional practice, education, and research, and provides training and consultation in complex facets of advanced practice nursing care; performs related duties as required.

ABOUT ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
ARMC, which is owned and operated by the Countyof San Bernardino, is a state-of-the-art 456 bed university-affiliated teachingmedical center featuring the newest intechnology in the field of patient care. ARMC is host to a 24-hour Emergency Department providing more than 90,000 annual visits, a Level II Trauma Center verified by the American College of Surgeons, a Regional Burn Center, Behavioral Health Services, Outpatient Specialty Clinics and fourPrimary Care Family Health Centers (FHC). The FHCs offer comprehensive primary care medical services to individuals and families of all age groups. The FHCs are staffed with experienced attending physicians and resident physicians from the Medical Center. ARMC is a Primary Stroke Center and hasa Baby Friendly designation from Baby-Friendly USA with over2800 births per year. The Neonatal Intensive Care is a30 bed Community California Children's Services certified unit.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Minimum Requirements

Education: Master of Science in Nursing.

Experience: Three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital, of which one year must have been in a cardiac medical or surgical intensive care unit.
