Working with a team of planners, the Senior Transportation Planner will keep the City apprised of best practices within Transportation Planning, relevant legislation and funding opportunities, and local projects that may impact or influence the City's strategic planning efforts. Minimum requirements: Any combination equivalent to training and experience that could likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills, and abilities would be a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public administration and four years of responsible management assistance experience in a public sector organization. EXAMINATION PROCEDURES Only the most qualified candidates will be invited to advance to the next stage in the recruitment process, which will consist of an oral appraisal interview.
