FISCAL AND RESOURCE COORDINATOR
Administrative Analyst Specialist
Housing and Residence Life
Salary Range: $3,288 - $6,347/Monthly
Work Schedule: Full-time; Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm; non-exempt classification.
Essential Job Functions: Under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Operations, the incumbent provides a wide range of budgetary, programmatic, administrative and operational support for Housing and Residence Life (HRL). This position tracks, analyzes, and interprets complex financial data and is required to understand and apply applicable policies, regulations and principles in the performance of job duties. This is a lead position and will have oversight of processes performed by professional and student staff, while providing training and guidance on topics related to accounts and budgeting, including payroll processing; license agreement cancellation process; onboarding of new professional and student staff; manage department files and assist in coordinating activities of the Housing front office. The incumbent works closely with Human Resource Management and Career Development Center in administration of recruitments, hiring and separation of staff, including coordination of interviews with candidates as needed; prepare and review recruitment and hiring forms for staff and student hire; maintain Housing Administrative Manual; manage department files; and assist in coordinating activities of the Housing front office.
Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year college or university and/or equivalent training and three years of full-time progressively responsible experience providing day-to-day administration of a program, and/or performing a variety of administrative and technical (analytical work related to operations and procedures) duties such as fiscal analysis and management, and program and policy research, development, implementation and evaluation. Demonstrated ability and interest in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Desired Qualifications: Master's degree in business related field with accounting course work. Previous experience in preparing account reconciliations of sub-ledger activity to the general ledger; one year of experience leading and reviewing the work of other accounting and/or clerical employees; experience with PeopleSoft, query, and databases or similar software systems; and experience in training others, preparing training presentations and presenting training to small groups.
