Position Summary:

This is a full-time (1.0 time-base) benefits eligible, permanent (probationary) position. This position is designated non-exempt under FLSA and is eligible for overtime compensation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Housing Facilities Services Administrative Support Coordinator is a member of the Office of Housing Administration team. In conjunction with the Director, Associate Directors, other managers, staff, and students, this position assists in carrying out the mission, vision, and values, of the Office of Housing Administration and is responsible for supporting and contributing to an atmosphere that facilitates respect, inclusivity, collaboration, and growth.

The Housing Facilities Services Administrative Support Coordinator serves as a direct administrative support for Housing Facilities Services. Duties include direct administrative support for the essential function and operations of Housing Facilities, detailed duties with student assistant hiring transactions, attendance keeping of full time staff and student assistants, and handling of confidential information on behalf of the university in support of Housing Facilities Services year-round.

Essential Qualifications:

Entry to this classification requires fundamental written and oral communication skills, including a sound foundation in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation; an ability to understand standard office procedures; an ability to operate standard office equipment; an ability to learn office technology systems; an ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; and typing and keyboard skills.

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of clerical, administrative or secretarial experience. Bachelor's degree may substitute for the required work experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting salary upon appointment not expected to exceed $3,848 per month. CSU Classification Salary Range: $2,846 - $5,148 per month. Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.
