Job Description

These positions may be filled with the Licensed or Unlicensed Registered Associate (post-Masters) classification, depending on qualifications. 

The current vacancy is in the Alcohol & Drug Services (ADS) Division at the Health and Human Services Agency. 

The Mental Health Counselor (Bilingual Spanish) - Licensed/Registered Associate position in ADS requires the ability to conduct assessments (ASAM), provide diagnosis for Substance Use Disorders, develop treatment plans, and conduct groups and individual counseling sessions for adult Spanish-speaking clients with Substance Use and/or Co-Occurring Disorders. Experience in Medi-Cal or Drug Medi-Cal service documentation highly desired.

The Recruitment Process
