The purpose of the class is to plan and supervise the efficient administration, operation and maintenance of the County's water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with strict water quality standards; and to perform other professional, technical, administrative and supervisory work as required. This class plans, organizes and implements programs within major organizational policies, reporting program progress to executive-level administration through reports and conferences.
Requires Bachelor's degree or education and training equivalent to four years of college education in environmental engineering, biology, chemistry or closely related field.
Must possess a valid state driver's license.
Must possess a Class "A" Wastewater and Water Operator licenses.
Requires over six years and up to and including ten years of experience.
