CITY OF NORMAN

As the third largest city in Oklahoma, the City of Norman (population 108,000) is home to the University of Oklahoma (student population – 29,700) and the Gold Award winning Norman Public Schools. The City is governed under the Council-Manager form of government.

Oklahoma will celebrate the 100th anniversary of its statehood on November 16, 2007, and all across the state, communities and organizations are making plans for special commemorations and celebrations of the event to take place throughout the coming year.
