The ideal candidate is an individual that also embraces community interests, and proposes new ideas to improve operations, enhance programs, and deliver services. The successful candidate will oversee both an aquatics center and two community centers, and oversee special events. This position requires 5 years of progressively responsible experience as a manager and supervisor in parks and recreation or related field plus a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in recreation, public administration, business administration or similar area. A Master’s degree and certification as a Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP) is desired but not required. The City offers a competitive salary of $127,380 to $171,228 based on experience and qualifications, plus a competitive benefit health and retirement package.
