Summary:

Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other related duties as assigned.

1. Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.

2. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.

3. Controls traffic by directing drivers.

4. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.

5. Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.

6. Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.

7. Respond to alarms, emergencies and requests for service.

8. Will perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Ongoing verification of driving eligibility will be conducted to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Must be at least 18 years old to qualify for this position.

Education and/or Experience:

At least two years related experience and/or training in Loss Prevention.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents, Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Missouri class E or Arkansas P designated driver's license and a safe driving record is required.

Other Skills and Abilities:

Ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 500 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
