We are seeking dedicated volunteers to assist in disaster response efforts. By joining us, you’ll play a vital role in providing support to communities affected by natural disasters, emergencies, and other crises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in emergency shelter operations
- Assist in distributing food, water, and essential supplies
- Assist employees in activities that do not require customer physical contact
- Assist employees with staging a location
Requirements:
- A commitment to serve during emergencies (flexible hours)
- Ability to work well in high-stress situations
- Strong teamwork skills
- Previous experience in disaster relief or emergency response (preferred but not required)

CONDITIONS FOR VOLUNTEERING
Background Check: Incumbents may be required to pass a background check based on the assignment type.
Physical Requirements: Volunteers will only undertake activities within their physical capabilities and training, avoiding risks that could cause injury to themselves or others.
Minimum Requirements
Volunteer Program Requirements - To be an eligible volunteer, minimum requirements are as follows: Must be 18 years of age or older.Must have a valid California Driver’s License.Must complete a Volunteer Application.May be required to complete a Department of Justice (DOJ)/FBI background, depending on the assignment. Must adhere to County policies (vehicles, uniforms, conduct).
