Health Program Specialist IHealth Program Specialist I CHCF-California Health Care FacilityEffective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 1, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 hours PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent. Under the direction of the Institution Quality Management/Patient Safety (QM/PS) Health Program Manager III, the Health Program Specialist (HPS) I is a highly skilled, technical subject matter expert supporting the local QM/PS Programs and is a member of the institution Quality Management Support Unit (QMSU).To obtain list eligibility for the HEALTH PROGRAM SPECIALIST I before applying for the position, you must first take and pass the HEALTH PROGRAM SPECIALIST I examination.You will find additional information about the job in the Duty Statement.Working ConditionsTravel may be required.The position(s) is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment, pursuant to Government Code sections 14200-14203.
