Leading security authorization and compliance efforts for the VA Voicebot program, the full-time remote ATO Specialist will manage the Authority to Operate (ATO) lifecycle, ensuring a robust security posture while collaborating with engineering and government stakeholders.Key responsibilitiesLead and manage the ATO, reauthorization, and Continuous Monitoring lifecycle for the VA Voicebot systemServe as the primary security point of contact, coordinating with VA stakeholders and internal leadershipPrepare and maintain required security and privacy artifacts, including System Security Plans (SSPs) and Security Assessment Reports (SARs)Required qualificationsProven experience leading ATO processes for federal information systemsStrong working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and federal security requirementsDemonstrated experience producing and maintaining federal security documentation, including SSPs and POA&MsFamiliarity with Zero Trust Architecture principles as they apply to federal systemsBachelor's degree
