Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on with extensive HCAI (formerly OSHPD) experience to lead complex healthcare projects ranging from $20M to $250M+. The Superintendent will be responsible for jobsite safety, quality, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and overall field execution. Client Details Our client is based in Southern California with offices in LA, Orange County, and San Diego. They specifically focus on Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Higher Education projects. They work on projects for well known clients in the region and they are growing quickly which means there is a ton of room to advance your career. Description Our Superintendent will be responsible for: Coordinate the work of all construction substrates in conjunction with the main office. Arrange, monitor and be present for agency inspections. Read and comprehend the information contained in architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and landscape drawings and specifications. Review shop drawings and other reports prepared by testing and inspection agency. Prepare and monitor RFI's. Prepare daily report forms and progress photographs. Working knowledge familiarity with computer operating systems including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel; and opening, preparing, scanning, printing, and sending PDF files and other documents. Actively engage design professionals, subcontractors, project managers, and local officials, when needed, to problem solve, mitigate conflicts, and resolve disputes. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly job site; and enforce job site safety standards. Profile The ideal Senior Superintendent will have: 7+ years of Superintendent experience Strong OSHPD/HCAI experience is required Hospital/healthcare construction project background Software experience: Procor, Bluebeam, MS Project, P6, Microsoft Office Bachelor of Construction Management preferred, not required Job Offer We are offering this role: Base salary of $160k - $220k, depending on experience $650/month vehicle allowance Gas card included 2 weeks PTO + 9 paid holidays Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Cell phone allowance 401k with company matching Annual bonus earning potential MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
