Military Operations Analyst LvL 4-5
- The Contractor will perform Modernization and Innovations Integration and in support of Customer requirements. The Contractor is responsible to organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization; develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the enterprise; create and manage various pilot programs and tech scouting initiatives; work closely with project sponsor, and coordinate with staff
- and units to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, market research, budget, and timing for new pilot initiatives; manage acquisition program for optimal return on investment and coordinate cross-project initiatives; develop budget for projects and be accountable for delivery against established business goals and objectives; and work to identify risks and opportunities across multiples projects within a portfolio.
- Lead and/or support the design, execution, and delivery of analytical assessments using wargames, simulations, and tabletop exercises to inform strategic resourcing decisions.
- Support/inform concept and capability development, Enterprise- wide gaps and shortfalls, and strategic risk across the force.
- Prepare and conduct defense and operational-level analysis to present/brief senior-level government leadership on findings.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders and GOV staff and units to collate and implement inputs, development, and participation in Modernization activities.
- US Citizenship and Possess an Active TS/SCI Clearance.
- Must be comfo11able with MS tools, (Excel, Power Point, Word) and in the use of these and other data analysis and visualization tools. Eg. Power BI.
- BA or BS degree.
- Needs skills to analyze data in excel and then be able to visualize in power point the inforn1ation gained from the analysis.
- Experience with military and DoD Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), SOF Capabilities Integration and Development System (SOFCIDS), and the military strategic planning process.
- Knowledge of Joint and Multinational operations.
- Knowledge of Joint, Service, and SOF Doctrine and TTPs
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to represent the GOV customer to a diverse and high-level audience.
- Confidence and willingness to lead small groups and projects; ability to work in a team environment; ability to work in a cross-functional international partner environment and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with strong project management and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work with a diverse team of engineers, IT professionals, and operators.
- Should demonstrate initiative and wherewithal to work alone (if/when required).
- Ability to use collaborative communications systems
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Master's Degree in relevant field.
