Job Description
Job SummaryGreenville's Recreation and Parks Department is currently looking for umpires for youth baseball games ages 5-8. Duties include but are not limited to umpiring, setting up for practices and games, and ensuring proper care of the program and facility.
Minimum Age: 16 years old, at the time of application
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per game
Seasonal Position: September - October 2026
Game Time (hours vary): Sunday 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Requirements:
- Applicants must possess a good knowledge of baseball rules and have the ability and patience to work with youth.
- Umpiring experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of First Aid and safety procedures is preferred.
- Mandatory staff trainings are required.
Applicants are required to submit a complete work history, a complete educational history (to include high school information), and at least 3 references. An incomplete application will not be considered.
