Corporate Facility Security Officer

The Corporate Facility Security Officer (CFSO) is a senior role leading the Program Security and Compliance Branch within the Security and Intelligence Directorate.ResponsibilitiesServe as the Program Security & Compliance Branch manager, ensuring compliance with Industrial Security regulations and oversight on all Facility Clearance and FOCI matters.Lead a team of approximately 20 FSO, CSSO and FOCI staff to deliver a compliant program and execute DCSA, client and internal audits.Implement a compliance strategy that facilitates engagement and communication between AFS and its parent and subsidiary entities.Maintain updated relationships with AFS Contracts, Proposal, Real Estate, Legal and Delivery teams to support Cage Code and Facility Clearance requirements.Ensure all Cage Code and Facility Clearance records are documented and maintained with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency.Manage FOCI governance, monitoring, mitigation, reporting and guidance for AFS programs, leadership and Board of Managers.Apply relevant AFS policies, S&ID Standard Practices and Procedures, and provide oversight, training and engagement to the team.Lead continuous improvement initiatives for automation, integration and efficiency within Program Security.Provide flexible work hours with a requirement for in‑person presence 3‑5 days per week at the Chantilly office and quarterly travel across the DC area.QualificationsActive TS/SCI government security clearance.Ability to obtain a DoE “Q” clearance.8+ years of management and leadership experience.DCSA CDSE FSO Certification and 10+ years of experience supporting DCSA and the Intelligence Community, including personnel security processing, facility clearance management, SAP, DCSA assessments, SCIF construction and accreditation.Excellent working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117, the Special Access Program Security Manual, ICDs, SEADs, NISS, SWFT, DISS, NBIS, e‑APP, FOCI and ITAR.Bonus PointsDirect experience managing FOCI programs.3+ years of experience in SCIF construction.3+ years as an Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) with curriculum completion.Understanding of NIST 800‑171 and CMMC Level 2 compliance.Related USG experience, credentials or certification.Benefits & CompensationThe base pay range for this position in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia and Cleveland is $146,000 – $278,500 USD. Compensation varies by location, role, skill set and level of experience.
