Once your application is completed, please send it to the Human Resources Department at HR@ktttribe.org.Position: Surveillance OfficerSupervisor: Surveillance Shift SupervisorDivision: Tribal Operations AdministrationDepartment: SurveillanceResponsibilities Monitors operations to protect the property's assets, reputation, standards and to ensure compliance with National Indian Gaming Commission Minimum Internal Control Standards, Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Gaming Commission Tribal Internal Control Standards, Regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino policies and procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities All Surveillance Department employees are responsible to ensure that their designated operations are in compliance with National Indian Gaming Commission Minimum Internal Control Standards, Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Gaming Commission Tribal Internal Control Standards, Regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino policies and procedures.All Surveillance Department employees must abide by Kickapoo Gaming Commission confidentiality policies. The release or divulging of any information obtained during the course of the job will be considered a breach of confidentiality and will be cause for immediate termination.Communicate with other departments and ensure that all request for reviews are completed in a timely manner and information relayed to the department heads accordingly.Ensure that all Surveillance Department logs are up to date and have been filled out accordingly.Maintain a clean and professional working environment at all times.Maintain and operate CCTV system in monitor room.Observe, document and verify video footage and report any unusual or suspicious activities on property.Remain current with all the National Indian Gaming Commission Minimum Internal Control Standards, Tribal Internal Controls, Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino policies and procedures.Perform such other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the Director of Surveillance.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to exercise independent and sound judgment.Ability to manage and maintain security of confidential data and information.Ability to understand and follow written and verbal direction.Attention to detail and accuracy.Cultural awareness of and sensitivity to Kickapoo traditions, religious beliefs and way of life.Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze and interpret basic documents, such as policy and procedure manuals; ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community; ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and group situation.Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).Must possess excellent observational and communication skills.Must possess working knowledge of all games played, be able to detect any schemes or cheating activity aimed at the company or its customers, and administer/be aware of appropriate remedies.Reasoning Ability – Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instruction and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Requires computer knowledge to include Excel, Microsoft Word and Access.Supervision Exercised This position does not carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Education and Experience Requirements Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or graduation equivalent diploma (GED).Preferred Qualifications: Previous work‑related experience is preferred.Native American Preference KTTT recognizes preference for KTTT tribal members and qualified Native American tribal members including preferential treatment in recruitment, hiring, promotions, layoffs and reductions in force so long as they meet minimum job qualifications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
