    Job Description

    This full-time position will be located at 112 Plaza Drive, Sikeston, MO 63801. Regular work schedule will be Sunday thru Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm, with Friday and Saturday off.

    Prepares one or several parts of a major meal such as an entire entree, vegetable, salad or dessert. Assists in the preparation of meals by measuring ingredients, mixing, boiling, frying, monitoring cooking temperatures, etc. Prepares foods on an independent basis. Directs and assists entry-level employees and/or other helpers in the preparation and serving of foods, and the cleaning of utensils and work areas. Receives direction from higher level cooks who provide specific instruction and review.

      ◦ Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to understand and follow instructions.
      ◦ Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrive to work on time, returns from lunch on time and minimizes unscheduled absences.
      ◦ Physical needs: Be able to lift 20-30 pounds, bend at waist, and stand for extended periods.
