    The Role:

    The Senior Training and Onboarding Specialist manages onboarding and training for LVCVA Ambassadors. This position oversees onboarding systems and processes, facilitates new hire orientation and all other training, leads cross-training programs, ensures compliance with training acknowledgements, manages training with third-party providers, and partners with internal teams to ensure a smooth, informed start for every Ambassador.

    What You’ll Do:

    Manage Onboarding and System Management
    • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, internal transfers, and promotions. This includes system setup, forms, scheduling, orientation, and follow-up.
    • Manage onboarding workflows, maintain and enhance HR training and onboarding systems, and ensure the accurate and timely processing of employee data.
    Administer Training and Compliance
    • Organize, deliver, and track all required and optional training for Ambassadors; lead cross-training programs; manage training acknowledgments and recordkeeping; coordinate training provided by third-party vendors.
    • Monitor completion and compliance of all mandatory training, update records, send notices and reminders about training requirements.
    Enhance Programs and Processes
    • Maintain accurate training and onboarding calendars, enroll participants, and ensure proper follow-up and documentation.
    • Recommend changes to onboarding or training processes for clarity and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with managers, teams, and third-party providers to assess training needs, support departmental onboarding, and answer questions.


    What We’re Looking For:
    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred; high school diploma required.
    • Professional certification, such as Training & Facilitation Certificate, PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP is a plus.
    • Demonstrated expertise in leading onboarding and compliance programs, while coordinating third-party training, including contracts, scheduling, and on-site logistics; cross-training experience a plus.
    • Skilled in presenting information and facilitating new hire orientation.
    • Proficient with HR systems, learning management tools, and external training vendors.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
    • Clear, professional communicator who collaborates effectively across diverse teams.
    • Experienced with office equipment, computers, and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with AI tools a plus.
    • Inclusive mindset with a commitment to valuing differences and fostering collaboration.
    • Strong strategic perspective, clear communication style, and sound judgment.
    • Energetic self-starter with a strong work ethic and flexibility to attend off-site events as needed.
