This position provides professional and technical expertise to internal customers for enterprise applications, platforms, and databases in support of Workday, Financial Management Systems, Enterprise Interface Builder Integrations, Visual Studio C# custom integrations and applications, Microsoft SQL Server Database programming, and Microsoft Power Platform Administration and configuration. Your duties will include application and database development, configuration, migrations, program/system testing, implementation and maintenance; business analysis; data and database administration; application procurement; technical training; and systems integration.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Required Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or closely related field and
- Four years of experience in programming, technical integrations, database development and design.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the applicant with the desired knowledge, skills and ability required to perform the work.
Preferred Education and Experience - Workday and FMS technical support and administration
- Workday certification
- Experience with Workday Studio IDE
- Experience with Visual Studio IDE

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE OF DUTIES- Support existing technology solutions (software and database).
- Analyze and document errors and resolve problems independently or in coordination with vendors.
- Repair data and database structures and software issues.
- Monitor performance of systems; plan and test upgrades to operating systems, utilities and applications.
- Define needs, analyze and design, develop, test, train and deploy software and database solutions.
- Develop and maintain application and system documentation.
- Provide technical leadership, expertise, and project management services in areas of assignment to County departments and outside agencies
- Administrative tasks involving but not limited to: providing project team task updates; customer, supervisor and team member communication; time tracking; training; and collaboration on new programming methods
- Provide end user and staff training of line of business applications, technology processes, and internal controls
- Develop Requests for Proposals, define evaluation criteria, recommend vendors and applications and negotiate license and maintenance agreements.

Vacation Leave New employees are credited with 48 hours of annual leave upon hire and will be begin accruing at the rate of 8 hours per month starting on their 7th month of employment. Employees may carry over 360 hours from one calendar year to the next. Annual leave accrual will increase upon tenure, as follows:
Upon completion of 2 years: 15 days per year (10.00 hours per month)
Upon completion of 5 years: 20 days per year (13.33 hours per month)
Upon completion of 10 years: 25 days per year (16.67 hours per month)
Sick Leave All new hires will be credited with 48 hours of sick leave upon hire and will begin accruing at the rate of 8 hours per month starting on their 7th month of employment. Employees may carry over 1200 hours from one calendar year to the next.
