- Apply by October 25, 2025, for Priority Consideration! - Epic Analyst I is an entry-level, trainee position designed for individuals interested in developing expertise in healthcare IT. In this role, you will receive training and guidance from experienced analysts to learn how to support and configure Epic applications. This position provides hands-on experience to build knowledge of system workflows, processes, and how technology supports safe and efficient healthcare operations.
Epic Analyst I assist with system setup, testing, and troubleshooting while gaining exposure to Epic tools and best practices. This role is ideal for candidates who are interested in combining their background with technical skills to build a career in healthcare IT. Epic Analyst I will work under training conditions while acquiring the necessary skills, knowledge, and certification to qualify for promotion to Epic Analyst II.

Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.

Certification: Incumbents must possess and maintain Epic certification in their assigned module. Some positions may require incumbents to obtain and maintain additional vendor specific certifications on the applications supported. Additional Epic certifications must be obtained within six (6) months of notification from a supervisor and/or management team. The Clinical Informatics Department reserves its right to extend beyond six (6) months if the core training class schedule falls outside of this period. If certification is not obtained after six (6) months of notification or the dedicated extended time allowance, the incumbent’s employment will be terminated.
On-Call: Incumbents may be placed
"On-Call" for nights,weekends and holidays depending on the certified module.

Minimum RequirementsCandidates must meet
both the following Education and Experience requirements:
EDUCATION An Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
EXPERIENCE Two (2) years of experience working in healthcare setting utilizing health information systems which includes front or back-office support, or Information Technology (IT) system support.
Desired QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have experience working with Epic or similar electronic health record system for an acute care hospital or a large healthcare setting.
