Position OverviewThe City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Multimedia Production Specialist in the Department of Communications. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year.
Under general supervision, performs professional level video production duties utilizing video and audio production techniques, motion graphics, script writing, and studio production, including live floor direction to produce digital and video products for the City of Henderson; and performs related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule and Environment :
Standard shift assignments include four (4) day work weeks (Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm). Incumbent may also work weekends, evenings, and events. Incumbent may expect work to be conducted in a traditional office environment based out of Henderson City Hall with travel.

Salary placement for non-represented positions is based on a comprehensive compensation review and takes into consideration the candidate's qualifications as well as internal equity.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Television and Film Communication, Digital Filmmaking and Video Production, Graphic or Commercial Arts, or a closely related field
- Five (5) years of experience in video production, audio and video equipment, video editing, and working with video redaction software
- Note: An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered
- Possess and maintain a valid Nevada or "border state" driver's license, as defined by NRS 483
- Remote Pilot Certification to operate a Drone / Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) in compliance with Part 107 Rules through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). *
